The 30,000 foot View
Looking forward to a new year of painting (along with some other activities). This year’s goal is to advance my skills and abilities in practicing the medium. That said, how to achieve that objective?
Gathering Information
- What do I want to accomplish – specifically?
- What are my current strengths and weaknesses – where am I now?
- What areas of improvement will have the most positive impact?
- What’s my game plan – what, when, how?
- What SMART goals will serve to achieve my objectives?
Setting My Goals
Now the work begins. Three to Five SMART goals should be enough. The most important element, however, is to get started!
